Connections Mentorship Program

In partnership with the Wake County Bar Association and Tenth Judicial District Bar

 

Objectives of Campbell Law’s Connections Mentorship Program:

  1. To foster in newly minted attorneys a more complete understanding of the ethical and professional standards of the legal profession
  2. To clarify those standards by providing real world learning experiences and ethical discussions with highly respected members of the local bar
  3. To prepare newly minted attorneys for the transition to the profession by demonstrating how to practically use the skills learned in law school

 

To be an attorney mentee:

  1. Active members in good standing with the NCSB
  2. Members of the Tenth Judicial District Bar
  3. Practitioners of law for no more than 3 years
  4. Covered under a professional liability insurance policy, or the equivalent of such coverage through the employment status of his/her employer

 

To be a mentor:

 

  1. 5+ consecutive years of active licensure with the NCSB
  2. No disciplinary action with the NCSB or any other state bar within the past 5 years
  3. Coverage under a professional liability insurance policy with minimum limits of $250,000/$500,000, or the equivalent of such coverage through the employment status of his/her employer

 

Connections Mentorship Program includes:

  1. Five activities with your mentor/mentee
  2. Five reflection memoranda completed by each mentee
  3. Brief orientation or training CLE for mentors, optional group activities, end-of-year reception and program evaluation
