At this year’s annual Ethics Committee Year in Review, attorneys Brian Oten and Warren Savage will provide an overview of recent ethics opinions and rule changes that lawyers need to know from the past year. Log in via Zoom or join us at Campbell Law school on Wednesday, January 15 from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. This CLE will also delve into the rapidly evolving intersection of artificial intelligence and legal ethics, examining the practical challenges and responsibilities that lawyers face in the digital age. Hear more about how AI tools are transforming tasks such as document review, client communication and courtroom preparation. This program is pending approval for one hour of ethics credit, is free for WCBA members and $45 for non-members. Presenters: Brian Oten, NC State Bar - Brian Oten is the Senior Ethics Counsel at the North Carolina State Bar, where he has worked for over 15 years, focusing on professional responsibility and the ethical implications of technology in legal practice.
Warren Savage, Lawyers Mutual - Warren Savage is an attorney and lecturer with over two decades of experience, specializing in the ethical use of technology and artificial intelligence in legal settings. He has been a frequent contributor to professional development and CLE programs nationwide.
