Join us on February 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the State Bar for an in-depth examination of diversity and inclusion issues facing the profession. Dana Tippin Cutler, star of "Couples Court with the Cutlers,” begins the day with a discussion of implicit bias stemming from her time as president of the Missouri Bar where she pioneered the Courageous Collaboration program, which encouraged lawyers to talk about issues of race, gender, disability, age and sexual orientation. Disability Rights NC in conjunction with the WCBA Lawyers with Disabilities task force will present on assistive technology for clients and lawyers with disabilities, and panel discussions from the North Carolina Lawyers Assistance Program and an array of minority leaders of our bar will round out the day. Four hours of CLE are pending, and will be free for WCBA members and $140 for non-members.
