Special Law Student Event with Board of Directors Each spring the WCBA will hold a special law student-members only event giving access to our Board of Directors.

Electronic Publications and Notifications Law students will receive the semi-monthly broadcast email letting them know of upcoming events

WCBA Bar Flyer All student members get WCBA Bar Flyer electronically

Lunches Access to all lunches during fiscal year. Limit of 16 spaces on a first come first served RSVP basis with a $10 fee for the lunch ($15 lunch fee for non-members).

CLE Access to WCBA CLE events

Event Access Access to Family Picnic and all breakfast meetings of the Tenth Judicial District Bar (held at Campbell Law)

Committee Participation Student participation on specific YLD Committees

Sports Participation Participation allowed in golf and tennis tournaments at cost. Participation in Bowling, Softball and Basketball leagues at student’s cost to be coordinated with Athletics Committee (Some limits on entire teams of students may be created).

Online Access to Membership Directory  Law student members will be able to look up and access email and other information about WCBA members.

Annual Membership Dues: $25

Dues include membership from August through May.

Law Student Memberships are limited to those who reside in Wake County or
enrolled in an ABA accredited law school. 

Law students who have been member since the law student program’s inception or during all three years of law school are offered a 25% discount on their first two years of WCBA dues, following graduation and passing the bar.
